Bilbao Guggenheim Museum
The picture in the question is of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. This unusual work of 20th century contemporary architecture was designed by Frank Gehry. The museum opened in October 1997 and is managed by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
The building is an important architectural achievement. It is clad in glass, titanium and limestone. Above picture shows the sculpture Maman by Louise Bourgeois in the foreground and the Guggenheim Museum building in the background.
